In the State of Montana, a person may not engage in or conduct business in the capacity of a property manager until that person has received a license from the Montana Board of Realty Regulation. There are several exceptions to this rule which may be found in the Montana Code Statute 37-51-602.

In order to become eligible to take the Property Manager’s Licensing Exam in Montana, the state requires an individual to have a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 30 hours pre-licensing education. In order to maintain their license, the state also requires an individual to complete 12 hours of continuing education each year. For newly licensed Property Managers, these 12 hours must consist of trust accounts, leasing principles, and state law updates.
On this site, you will find information for the Pre-Licensing and Continuing Education courses that are provided by Bruno Friia.
